No i "found" this style when somebody wanted me to re-illustrate "Brehm´s Thierleben". Illustrations there are done by copper engraving. But to do this in some weeks is nearly impossible. I made experiments with little dots. But I do all my works on my computer, otherwise i wouldn´t know where to put all the papers.
Beautifully done-- really has the old school engraving feeling, but with a great modern twist.
wonderful illustration, really love it.
